The First Doctor wishes a bunch of people good tidings, but Steven thinks it has gone too far.

- Steven thinks he and Sara should have "nipped it in the bud" when the Doctor started wishing viewers merry Christmases.
- The Doctor goes on to wish Jason in Crouch End a happy tenth birthday, congratulate Brian and Hazel on their ruby wedding, wish Lucy good luck on her driving test and say "Hello" to Catherine from her mum and dad.
