Is Your Dad An Evil Alien? was one of the comical "game" sections of Tim Quinn and Dicky Howett's The Doctor Who Fun Book. Interestingly, it featured little in the way of overt DWU elements, merely mentioning the Seven Galaxies and lifting the general concept of frequent alien invasions of Earth.
Publisher's summary[[edit] | [edit source]]
If you're a keen Doctor Who viewer then you will know that the planet Earth is a favourite target in the Seven Galaxies. Due to this situation it is imperative that we remain ever vigilant against surprise attacks. We therefore present a simple test for you to determine whether your family has been infiltrated…

Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]
- If the Dad is an alien, he will:
- threaten to cut off his child's legs with his Flesh Nullifier if the child tapes Doctor Who over his prized Royal Weddings 1947-1986 VHS tapes again;
- hit his child on the head with his Sledge Hammer Arm Extension if the child accidentally shoots their Anti-Space Invader Bazooka up the Dad's right nostril;
- throw the child back into the blazing house with a reptilian curse if the child accidentally sets the house on fire with their toy chemistry set.
- If the Dad is indeed an alien, the writers of the test invite the reader to purchase their Alien Extermination Kit ("only £150 plus VAT").
