- Dalek Inc has a box for its exports.
- The man observes that a detector van has parked outside, and the woman assumes he hasn't paid his TV Licence. In fact, the man didn't pay his Terry Nation Licence, which he believes to be a worse crime.
- The Daleks exterminate both the man and woman.
