The twenty-fourth instalment of Doctor Who? was printed in DWM 87 with a cover date of April 1984.

- Nathan-Turner's script is on rewrite 570.
- Nathan-Turner refers to the Sixth Doctor as "Who No 6".
- Nathan-Turner's shirt armsleeve has the words "Hawaii 50" on it.
- Nathan-Turner reminds Baker that his Doctor is to be a mixture of Doctors One to Five with Hartnell's irritability, Troughton's whimsicality, Pertwee's dignity, Baker's insanity and Davison's stick of celery.

- Although the Doctor had broken the fourth wall in several instalments of Doctor Who? prior to this one, this story was the first set very much in the "real world" with fictionalised versions of John Nathan-Turner and Colin Baker both featuring.
- This story was accompanied in DWM 87 by previews of The Caves of Androzani and The Twin Dilemma, the final and debut stories for the Fifth and Sixth Doctor respectively.
- This was the thirtieth Doctor Who? strip drawn by Dicky Howett.
