IndexTimey-wimey detector → Timeline - Borusa
Spoilers are strongly policed here.
If this thread's title doesn't specify it's spoilery, don't bring any up.

This page lists appearances of Borusa in the order in which he experienced them. This timeline is based upon observations of the Doctor Who universe and the events that occur during each of these stories.

Timeline[[edit source]]

As a child[[edit source]]

At the age of eight, Borusa is taken from his family for the selection process into the Time Lord Academy. Staring into the Untempered Schism, Borusa is driven mad. (PROSE: A Brief History of Time Lords)

Early hand in politics[[edit source]]

As a junior Lord Cardinal, Borusa chairs the Committee of Enquiry into the activities of Morbius.

At the Academy[[edit source]]

Borusa lectures a young First Doctor.
Borusa writes a report on the Doctor's work at the Academy (PROSE: Report on Term's Work)
"Theta Sigma" writes to Borusa in response to an Interim Report. Borusa is the head of the Prydon Academy and is yet to be promoted to the role of Cardinal. (PROSE: "Academic Progress")
Borusa presides over the Doctor's expulsion from the Time Lord Academy.

Later life[[edit source]]

The Fourth Doctor is still travelling with Sarah Jane Smith.
Lord Cardinal Borusa meets the Fourth Doctor. He has regenerated at least once. Sarah Jane has just left the Doctor due to the Time Lord only policy on Gallifrey.
Regenerating again in the interim, Lord Chancellor Borusa once again crosses paths with the Doctor amidst the Sontaran invasion of Gallifrey.
Cardinal Borusa is Acting President and several thousand years old. In recent years, since the Doctor returned to his life in The Deadly Assassin, Borusa, who had previously only went through his regenerations due to old age, has experienced three regenerations in relatively short order, caused by a falling stack of books, a missing decimal point, and an infected toenail respectively.
Now in his fourth known body, Lord President Borusa meets the Fifth Doctor.
Assembling four incarnations of the Doctor in a bid to gain immortality, Lord President Borusa, in yet another new body with multiple regenerations remaining, is condemned by Rassilon to eternity in the stone of the Tomb of Rassilon.

Enduring eternity[[edit source]]

During the Sixth Doctor's trial, Borusa is released from his "immortality" at the request of the Eighth Doctor, regressed to an earlier and more stable incarnation.
Borusa is released from the tomb to aids the Seventh Doctor, seeing the error of his ways. Rassilon decides to find him "a better place" to endure eternity.
In the final days of the Last Great Time War, Borusa has since retro-evolved to become Rassilon's possibility engine, perpetually regenerating through his different incarnations. Assisting the War Doctor, Borusa finds peace as he finally dies.

Currently unplaced[[edit source]]

These entries are placed here either due to being part of ongoing storylines that have yet to offer sufficient enough evidence to be placed in a specific part of this Doctor's timeline, unless further evidence arises in the stories to come, or due to being released early in this Doctor's tenure, and not having sufficient enough evidence to be placed in any chapter of this Doctor's run.

Awaiting placement[[edit source]]

These entries are placed here until a suitable position in the timeline can be determined based on the available evidence.
