This page lists the linear order of classic series television stories in the Doctor Who universe timeline as given in History of Mankind according to Doctor Who, published as part of The Terrestrial Index. This timeline, which admits to the use of retroactive continuity and the disregarding of certain contradictory dates given in stories, is based upon observations of the Doctor Who universe and the events that occur during each of these stories.
