This page lists appearances of the Rutan Host in the order in which they experienced them. This timeline is based upon observations of the Doctor Who universe and the events that occur during each of these stories.
Timeline[[edit source]]
- A Rutan attends the Armageddon Convention hosted by Irving Braxiatel.
- The Sontarans and the Rutans have been at war for only a few centuries, however they meet on a planet previously colonised by humans.
- Following the Second Dalek War, the Rutans succeed in destroying the Sontaran homeworld, Sontara. However, the Sontarans manage to survive with the assistance of the Seventh Doctor.
Unplaced[[edit source]]
- The Fifth Doctor, accompanied by Adric, Nyssa and Tegan Jovanka, stumbles upon a Rutan weapon test field.
- During the war, a Sontaran scout ship is shot down and crashes to Earth. After a human helps him defeat a Rutan copy, the Sontaran Commander leaves the planet in his ship to rejoin the war.
