This page lists the Doctor Who universe timeline of the Cybermen as given by The Discontinuity Guide, which was republished on the Doctor Who website. This timeline is based upon observations of the Doctor Who universe and the events that occur during each of these stories.
Timeline[[edit source]]
- When Mondas drifts beyond the solar system, the Mondasians weaken and convert themselves into Cybermen. Large numbers but by no means all of these Cybermen leave the planet, searching for a new home.
- The Cybermen invade Planet 14 and encounter the Doctor.
- 1969 - TV: The Invasion
- The Cybermen invade Earth. They recognise the Second Doctor from Planet 14.
- The Mondasians invade Earth only to be destroyed with their planet.
- 1988 - TV: Silver Nemesis
- Following the destruction of Mondas, the Cybermen attempt to establish a base on Earth but are defeated by the Seventh Doctor.
- 2070 - TV: The Moonbase
- The Second Doctor encounters another group of Cybermen who are, in part, attempting to replenish their supplies following the destruction of Mondas.
- 21st century / Early 22nd century - TV: The Wheel in Space
- The Cybermen invade Space Station W3.
- The Doctor disturbs the Cyber-tombs on Telos.
- Late 27th century - TV: Revenge of the Cybermen
- Following their defeat in the Cyber-Wars, a shipful of Cybermen attempt to destroy Voga but are thwarted by the Fourth Doctor.
- Using a stolen Time vessel (Attack of the Cybermen), the Cybermen of Telos travel back and attempt to prevent the destruction of Mondas and to destroy Earth in 1986.
- Following their first failure, the Cybermen go back to the 26th century (2526) in an abortive attempt to change the outcome of the Cyber-Wars, potentially their last ditch plan.
