This page lists the order of stories taking place in Shoreditch, home to Coal Hill School and Totter's Lane. This timeline is based upon observations of the Doctor Who universe and the events that occur during each of these stories. - The Doctor accidentally pilots the TARDIS to Shoreditch in 1601 when trying to take Barbara and Ian home.

- Ian Chesterton bumps into an older, alternate version of himself on the way to Coal Hill School.
1963[[edit source]]
- The First Doctor and Susan briefly arrive at 76 Totter's Lane in 1963, but then depart.
- Flashbacks to the Doctor and Susan arriving at Totter's Lane.
- ends on the TARDIS's arrival in Totter's Lane
- The TARDIS lands near Coal Hill before Ian and Barbara left the area 5 months later. Ian and Barbara each encounter past versions of each other, before deciding to continue travelling aboard the TARDIS.
- Set in summer, Barbara and Ian both work at Coal Hill School. No year is given.
- An alternate version of Ian Chesterton briefly visits the Doctor at 76 Totter's Lane.
- This story is episodic and also covers later events.
- The Doctor returns to Shoreditch the day he left in An Unearthly Child.

- Charlie Smith's accidental arrival in 1963 through a space-time tear occurs on this day; coincides with some of the events of Remembrance of the Daleks.
