This page lists the Presidents of Gallifrey in chronological order. This timeline is based upon observations of the Doctor Who universe and the events that occur during each of these stories.

Early Presidents[[edit source]]

According to PROSE: The Scrolls of Rassilon, Rassilon succeeded Pandak, while many other accounts (including PROSE: The Legacy of Gallifrey, PROSE: Cat's Cradle: Time's Crucible) suggest that he was the first President of the Time Lords.
According to PROSE: The Legacy of Gallifrey, Pandad succeeded Rassilon as the second President of the Time Lords.
According to PROSE: The Legacy of Gallifrey, Pandad succeeded Rassilon as the third President of the Time Lords.
According to the PROSE: The Legacy of Gallifrey, Morbius claimed the title of Lord President in exile and fought a civil war against Pandad. According to PROSE: Warmonger, Morbius himself was president and after being overthrown, fought his former vice president Saran. According to AUDIO: Morbius, the war was fought against Rassilon's successor, whose identity varied across different tellings. PROSE: Doctor Who and the Brain of Morbius claims it was fought during the Doctor's lifetime.
