This page lists appearances of Valarie Lockwood in the order in which she experienced them. This timeline is based upon observations of the Doctor Who universe and the events that occur during each of these stories. From these observations we have attempted to build a concise timeline. It is assumed, much like its TV story counterparts that for each novel, comic story and audio series their published/numbered order is the order they occur in. This does not apply to short stories which are often ambiguous about their placement. There are also many gaps between stories.

- Valarie's mum dies due to the Darithian Blight. The TARDIS is hijacked by the "mysterious phone woman", leading into The House of Masks.

- Valarie's first adventure in the TARDIS.
- The Doctor and Valarie are caught in unknowingly caught in two separate timelines. "Telephone lady" hijacks the TARDIS again, leading into All of Time and Space.

- Valarie and the Doctor meet Elery Quest.

- The Doctor and Valarie have been arguing about changing time, as seen in All of Time and Space.

- The Doctor loses his memory and allows himself to harvest Valarie's cybernetic parts in exchange to visit the TARDIS. The Doctor offers an apology upon regaining his memories. Leads into Broken Hearts.

- Valarie admits that she's not okay with the Doctor harvesting her parts. Valarie asks to be taken back to Medrüth, but they land in a ruined city where they argue it out. Valarie is offered a TARDIS key.

- The TARDIS is hijacked by the mysterious caller again. The Doctor offers to give Valarie lessons, but Valarie wishes to visit Roanna instead.

- The Doctor takes Valarie and Roanna on a date to 1893. Valarie views her own future death, and Roanna views her own future destiny. They decide to accept their future but go the long way round.

- The Doctor and Valarie face the Cybermen. Remembering her future death in All's Fair, Valarie really hopes for an afterlife.

- The Doctor and Valarie meet Tim for the first time, who manipulates the Doctor to kill either Arabella Hendricks or Valarie. The Doctor does neither but realises that he's been secretly on Medrüth all along, which is currently under attack by the Daleks.

- The Doctor and friends fight the Daleks on Medrüth.

- The fight against the Daleks continue, Valarie and Roanna decide they wish to get married despite knowing their futures. A Valarie from an alternate timeline goes back to 1893 to fulfill her future marriage and death. The other Valarie continues on the prime timeline.

- The Doctor defeats the Daleks. Valarie and Roanna get married, and leave the Doctor. The Doctor goes on searching for Clara Oswald.
