Pre-Time War[[edit source]]

The Fourth Doctor meets Davros when he is sent by the Time Lords to interfere with the creation of the Daleks. The incursion in Dalek history potentially creates a whole new timeline, though it is possible that events proceed more or less the same.
A group of primitive Daleks reside on Skaro before being defeated in battle with the Thals supported by the First Doctor, who had inadvertently arrived on Skaro in his attempt to return his human companions to Earth.
The Daleks invade and occupy the Earth as a means for Project Degravitate, which is ultimately thwarted by the First Doctor, resulting in the liberation of Earth.
Matching reports on Earth with the data the hold on his earlier visit to Skaro, the Daleks dispatch a time machine in a failed attempt to eliminate the First Doctor, who they identify as their greatest enemy.
The Dalek Wars are fought against humanity over several centuries, potentially involving intervention by future Daleks. The Dalek Wars eventually end with a short-lived invasion of Earth before a tactical retreat of the Milky Way around the year 3000. Little to no Dalek activity is reported in the next 500 years, however, a number of Dalek gains in the Outer Galaxies are made from 3500 to 4000.
The Daleks attempt to invade Earth using the Time Destructor but are defeated by the First Doctor.
Using time corridors, the Daleks led by the Emperor attempt to spread the Dalek Factor throughout human history but are thwarted by the Second Doctor, who uses Humanised Daleks to instigate a Dalek Civil War on Skaro.
A Dalek timeship which fled Skaro crashes on the planet Vulcan before its crew eventually resurfaces in the 21st century. They are stopped by the Second Doctor, who they recognise.
The Dalek hierarchy is restructured with Gold Daleks replacing Black Daleks as leaders and Grey Daleks replacing Silver Daleks as drones. With a limited number of Daleks, the Dalek Empire is forced to employ Ogrons as mercenaries.
The Daleks attempt to overwrite history in their favor by invading Earth in the late 21st century, creating a new timeline which is ultimately prevented by the Third Doctor. These Daleks are only aware of the First and Second Doctors, and initially do not recognise the Third Doctor before they are destroyed.
The Daleks and their Ogron servants work with the Master in a a plot to reignite the Human-Draconian War. This plot is thwarted by the Third Doctor, who goes on to uncover the Daleks' plan to invade the galaxy.
The Daleks inflict a deadly space plague on human colonies. The Daleks seen on Exxilon and suggested by The Dalek Handbook to be Daleks native to the time period who have been subsumed into future Dalek forces.
Skaro is destroyed by the Hand of Omega.
the Old Master stands trial on an apparently restored Skaro, though the possibility that this is prior to the destruction of Skaro is acknowledged.
The Daleks engage in the Tenth Dalek Occupation before disappearing to fight the Last Great Time War against the Time Lords.
