This page lists appearances of the Thals the order in which they experience them.This timeline is based upon observations of the Doctor Who universe and the events that occur during each of these stories.

- A group of Thals from their plateau return to the Thal Dome, only to find it infested with Daleks. They are all exterminated.
- All the Thals had to leave the plaeau four years ago due to food shortages.
- Fifty cycles following the events of The Daleks, the Thals have constructed a Thal City. The Dalek Supreme, the last surviving Dalek from the Dalek City has been building up an army of Daleks, but all are seemingly destroyed by the Doctor and his companions in association with the Thals. The Thal leader, Damadus, speculates that further Dalek colonies might exist across Skaro and makes makes plants to prepare his people for any future encounter they might have with them.

- Set in 2540. The Thals recall the events of The Daleks
- Members of the Thal tribe from The Daleks are referred to. The Thals have relocated to New Davius.
