This page lists appearances of Andy Davidson in the order in which he experienced them. This timeline is based upon observations of the Doctor Who universe and the events that occur during each of these stories. From these observations we have attempted to build a concise timeline. It is assumed that for each novel, comic, audio or television series, their published, broadcast or numbered order is the order they occur in.

2016
- Set in 2016. Almost ten years have passed since Gwen joined Torchwood in Everything Changes, and she has recently started trying to set up operations in Cardiff again. Andy meets Norton Folgate for the first time.
- Andy is brought back to the 1950s by Norton Folgate in an attempt to seize control of Torchwood One.
2017 - 2019
- Andy meets Yvonne Hartman for the first time. He is currently being kept at a desk job in the police station due to the events of The Empty Hand.
- The events of The Empty Hand took place "last year".
2020
- Andy is on a mission for Torchwood, likely setting this after Thoughts and Prayers.
- Andy arrives in London to check up on Tania and her mission to keep the Eighth Doctor out of harm's way.
- Andy meets the Eighth Doctor.
- The events of Thoughts and Prayers were a few months ago and Torchwood is still inactive.
- Andy visits an alien planet for the first time.
- Andy recalls the events of Goodbye Piccadilly, and travels back to the 1950s using a vortex manipulator after picking up a time disturbance relating to Norton on the Torchwood computer. He is "sort-of" working for Torchwood and claims to have a lot of experience with time travel.
2021
- Before he can watch the new James Bond movie, Andy is pulled back in time to the 1950s to assist Norton. Based on real world information, he was most likely taken from Autumn 2021.
