Cut! was a two-page splash-panel parodical comic story in Tim Quinn and Dicky Howett's The Doctor Who Fun Book. Like several stories in the Fun Book, it relied on a flexible fourth wall, featuring apparently-real Neomorph Cybermen being dealt apparently real wounds, but all as part of some BBC filming for which the Cybermen are paid like actors.

Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]

After a gruesome battle scene which ends with dismembered Neomorph Cyberman body parts littering the floor, the director of a Doctor Who episode yells "Cut!" and demand they try again. The disembodied heads of the Cybermen are less than enthusiastic about this prospect, although at least "they're on time and a half".
