From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

This page lists appearances of Iris Wildthyme in the order in which she experienced them — at least, to the extent that such an idea can ever be considered meaningful. This timeline is based upon observations of Paul Magrs' take on the Doctor Who universe and the events that occur during each of these stories. From these observations we have attempted to build a concise timeline.

Limiting factors[[edit] | [edit source]]

Panda[[edit] | [edit source]]

Although Panda joined Iris Wildthyme in Wildthyme at Large, Iris has previously travelled with Panda. This could be a result of ever-changing timelines, or it could be simply be Iris decided to keep quiet about this.

Iris's incarnations[[edit] | [edit source]]

Iris's stories can be roughly sorted by her (somewhat contradictory) order of incarnations.

  • Patient Iris
  • Edith Sitwell Iris
  • Shirley Bassey Iris, AKA "Brenda Soobie"
  • Beryl Reid Iris
  • Jane Fonda Iris
  • 1970s musician Iris
  • Katy Manning Iris
  • Bianca Iris

Beryl Reid Iris[[edit] | [edit source]]

Iris has recently regenerated into her Beryl Reid incarnation.
The Beryl Reid incarnation had previously appeared in Old Flames, and this story is referenced multiple times in Suitors, Inc, however this account implies that the Beryl Reid incarnation wasn't in Old Flames.

Adventures with Thomas Daley[[edit] | [edit source]]

Tom leaves Iris after an argument, and Tom stays in the 1990s.

"Jane Fonda" Iris[[edit] | [edit source]]

Iris is UNIT's Special Scientific Advisor, and she appears on Seeing Eye.
Iris is currently on holiday from her job at UNIT.

In the post-War universe[[edit] | [edit source]]

Iris visits the Eighth Doctor.
Iris fools around with Robin in newborn Paul Magrs' dream.
Due to the time the story first came out (2001), it's likely it's the Jane Fonda incarnation that was present in this story.
Iris is travelling with the Eighth Doctor, and both Paul Magrs and Iris are friends.
Panda temporarily travels with a "future" "Jane Fonda" Iris.

1970s musician Iris[[edit] | [edit source]]

Katy Manning Iris[[edit] | [edit source]]

Solo adventures[[edit] | [edit source]]

Iris is travelling alone.

According to this solitary account, Iris met Panda in a pub on Gallifrey.

Reunited with Tom[[edit] | [edit source]]

Iris and Tom rekindle their friendship, and with Tom's friend Panda, they begin travelling together.
It is also seemingly the first time Panda and Iris met Mida Slike.

After Panda[[edit] | [edit source]]

Iris recieves a postcard from the Thirteenth Doctor, and Panda isn't currently travelling with Iris, although he is mentioned.
The absence of Panda suggests a placement after his and Iris' travels.
Iris knows about the Thirteenth Doctor, setting this after A Lady Doctor?.
