Later, some of Donna Noble's DNA combined with the regenerative energies within to hand to cause it to grow into a human-Time Lord hybrid of the Doctor. After helping the him defeat the Daleks, the real Doctor takes this new Doctor to Pete's World along with Rose where they both start a life together.
