This page lists appearances of the Sisterhood of Karn in the order in which they experienced them. This timeline is based upon observations of the Doctor Who universe and the events that occur during each of these stories.

Timeline

The Dark Times

In a TARDIS projection, the Great Mother is head of the Sisterhood during a time where Rassilon is still working on regeneration.

Before the Time War

Maren is the high priestess. The Sisterhood help the Fourth Doctor to prevent Morbius' resurrection.
Orthena is high priestess. The Sisterhood have abandoned Karn.

The Last Great Time War

Ohila is the high priestess of the Sisterhood. She helps the Eighth Doctor in his regeneration into the War Doctor.

Post-Time War

Colony Sarff leaves a message for the Doctor with Ohila.
Follows on directly from The Magician's Apprentice, Ohila delivers the message to the Doctor.
Ohila appears to be based on Gallifrey.
The Sisterhood have a backdoor from Karn leading to Gallifrey, likely explain Ohila's presence there in Hell Bent.
