If this thread's title doesn't specify it's spoilery, don't bring any up.
This page lists appearances of the Bruce Master played by Eric Roberts in the order in which he experienced them. It relies on much speculation to fit semi-contradictory sources together, and should absolutely not be seen as representative of this wiki's general policy.
After the Thirteenth Master stole the body of Bruce Gerhardt, this new Master adopted a rather distinct persona. The full timeline of the Thirteenth Master can be found here.
Timeline[[edit source]]
- Concurrent page: Thirteenth Master
Opening the Eye of Harmony[[edit source]]
- Having survived his execution on Skaro by using a Deathworm Morphant, the Master forces the Doctor's TARDIS to land in 1999 San Francisco, where, after the Doctor is critically injured, the Master possesses the body of Bruce Gerhardt. Bribing Chang Lee, the Master hunts down the Eighth Doctor to steal his body and remaining regenerations. During a final fight with the Doctor in his TARDIS, the Master is sucked into the Eye of Harmony.
- (REFERENCE)
- After falling into the Eye of Harmony, the Eye attempts to convert the Master into pure energy, but he is able to escape into a spare room in the Doctor's TARDIS, which is then jettisoned into the Time Vortex. (AUDIO: The Lifeboat and the Deathboat)
- Directly after Doctor Who, the Master's voice can be heard mocking the Doctor after he springs "one final trap" left in the TARDIS.
Trapped in the Time Vortex[[edit source]]
- The Master is still wearing his Gallifreyan robes.
- The Master's hair is still brown, setting this before Faustian, and he is wearing his clothes from The Lifeboat and the Deathboat. It is possible that Missy rescued him from the Time Vortex for Battle of the Bands Beyond the Stars.
- Follows on from The Abominable Showmen.
- The Master has been trapped aboard the jettisoned room in the Time Vortex for "roughly a hundred years". He escapes in a stasis capsule.
- After boarding a ship and drifting through the Time Vortex for "a while", the Master arrives on Kolstan. He encounters the Eighth Doctor for the first time since Doctor Who. Missy and the "War" Master plan to wipe his memory and throw him back into the Time Vortex after they give a future version of the "Deathworm" Master a new regeneration cycle.
- The Master is Time Scooped by a future incarnation. His hair is still brown, setting this before Faustian, and he is wearing his clothes from The Lifeboat and the Deathboat and Day of the Master.
Sending transmissions[[edit source]]
- The Master and claims to have been trapped in the Time Vortex for "an eternity". His hair has gone grey since The Lifeboat and the Deathboat. He manages to send a message to Earth during Halloween.
- Still trapped in the Time Vortex, the Master manages to send another message to Earth during Christmas.
- The Master has become aware of Lila Kreeg, and tries to send a message out to her on Valentine's Day.
Working with Lila Kreeg[[edit source]]
- Set in April 2223. The Master makes contact with Lila Kreeg and a week later, he escapes the Time Vortex after successfully instructing Lila on how to build a wormhole. The Master has to absorb the life force of Eddi Bhole to sustain himself outside of the vortex. He takes control of Drake Interplanetary.
- The Master is working with Lila to run Drake Interplanetary. Vienna Salvatori is hired to assassinate him. A Dalek spaceship arrives on Earth, leading directly into Vengeance.
- Months have passed since Faustian. The Master is forced back into the Time Vortex by Lila after he attempts to destroy Earth.
Aboard the Kairos[[edit source]]
- Having been reduced to an essence in a patch of dark time, the Master is reconstituted by the Vortex Drive of the Kairos. He escapes to a higher deck.
- The Master is infiltrating through the Kairos. He makes his way to the flight deck.
- The Master is pulled apart again after the Kairos is directed back into the patch of dark time.
Mission to Axos[[edit source]]
- The Master is retrieved from the Vortex and forcibly recruited by Clarke Philips.
- Immediately after Basilisk.
- Immediately after Axos Rising. The Master escapes the destruction of Axos and steals a spaceship, reprogramming it to obey him and ordering it to take him “somewhere sophisticated”.
Rescued by Esterath[[edit source]]
- (FLASHBACK)
- The Master found himself drifting through the Time Vortex, where Bruce's body decayed beyond recovery. His fragile essence was saved by Esterath and resurrected into the body of a deceased vagrant, in order to take part in the fight for The Glory. (COMIC: The Glorious Dead)
Currently unplaced[[edit source]]
- These entries are placed here due to being part of ongoing storylines that have yet to offer sufficient enough evidence to be placed in a specific part of this Master's timeline, unless further evidence arises in the stories to come.
Awaiting placement[[edit source]]
- These entries are placed here until a suitable position in the timeline can be determined based on the available evidence.
