This page lists appearances of Grace Holloway in the order in which she experienced them. This timeline is based upon observations of the Doctor Who universe and the events that occur during each of these stories. From these observations we have attempted to build a concise timeline. It is assumed, much like its TV story counterparts that for each novel or audio series their published/numbered order is the order they occur in. This does not apply to short stories which are often ambiguous about their placement. There are also many gaps between stories.

Timeline[[edit source]]

Meeting the Doctor[[edit source]]

TV: Doctor Who ^[+]Loading...["Doctor Who (TV story)"]

Set from 30 December 1999 to 1 January 2000. Grace meets the Eighth Doctor shortly after his regeneration, which was caused when Grace operated on him with human medicine. After an encounter with the Master, the Doctor invites Grace aboard the TARDIS, however she rejects his offer and they part ways.

GAME: Legacy ^[+]Loading...["Legacy (video game)"]

Set directly after Doctor Who. Moments after parting ways with the Doctor, she is reunited with an older version of him and his companion Josie Day inside the TARDIS during the Ultimate war.

Travels with the Doctor[[edit source]]

COMIC: The Body Politic ^[+]Loading...["The Body Politic (comic story)"]

In February 2000, Grace is reunited with the Doctor for the first time since Doctor Who. The Doctor convinces her to take a trip in the TARDIS, and after a few brief stops they arrive on an Earth-like planet. Grace learns about the TARDIS translation circuits. Following an adventure, Grace decides that life in the TARDIS isn’t for her, and asks the Doctor to bring her home, however before they have a chance to depart, Grace is kidnapped by Adam Mitchell.

The Doctor, alongside his other incarnations, rescues Grace and their companions from Adam Mitchell.

After the Doctor[[edit source]]

COMIC: The Fallen ^[+]Loading...["The Fallen (comic story)"]

In 2001, Grace is reunited with the Eighth Doctor and meets his latest companion Izzy Sinclair.

COMIC: The Flood ^[+]Loading...["The Flood (comic story)"]

In 2005, Grace witnesses the Cyberman invasion of Earth being stopped, which she correctly assumes was down to the Doctor.

WC: Farewell, Sarah Jane ^[+]Loading...["Farewell, Sarah Jane (webcast)"]

In circa 2020, Grace attends the funeral of Sarah Jane Smith.
