This page lists appearances of the Cybermen in the order in which they experienced them. This timeline is based upon Outcast's observations of the Doctor Who universe and the events that occur during each of these stories.
Pre-ramble[[edit] | [edit source]]
The Cybermen's timeline is perhaps one of the most complex. Generally, the wiki's own Timeline tries to place them based on dates alone. But I've always found this a bit odd, since various stories do show the Cybermen as time-travellers, albeit their time-travel is very faulty and unreliable.
This timeline, then, will mostly be based around which design of Cyberman is operating in a given story. Whilst the David Banks lore was to ascribe each different design to a different Cyberman faction, the more modern (and my preferred) conception of the various design changes are that they are evolutions of the previous - which fits more with how the actual designs appear.
