This page lists appearances of Vansell in the order in which he experienced them. This timeline is based upon observations of the Doctor Who universe and the events that occur during each of these stories.

Timeline

Vansell gives up his trying to form some kind of life at the Prydonian Academy to become a Coordinator at the Celestial Intervention Agency. While he is respected by his peers, he is barely tolerated by them.
Vansell is Coordinator, with Narvin as his Sub-Coordinator. Vansell sends Narvin on a mission where he meets the Fourth Doctor.
Vansell encounters the Sixth Doctor in events that lead to the Doctor's trial in The Trial of a Time Lord.
Vansell is currently serving a male President.
Romana II is the Lady President however the "Sirens President" has been in power as whilst she was held captive by the Daleks for two decades.
Vansell welcomes President Romana back to Gallifrey after an adventure with the Eighth Doctor, informing her of a situation involving Handrel's attempt to merge Time Lord DNA with that of the Vampires.

Death

Vansell defeats the Neverpeople by trapping himself inside a Time Lord time station, causing him and the Neverpeople to be vapourised by its time energy.

Alternate Vansells

One version of Vansell was from a universe where the Valeyard triumphed over the Sixth Doctor in his trial.
One version of Vansell was the servant of an alternate Romana on an alternate Gallifrey.
One version of Vansell was a Castellan on an alternate Gallifrey.
One version of Vansell was the Coordinator of the CIA on an alternate Gallifrey.
