Disparate Minds is an ongoing prose series published primarily by The Cheshire House. Spun off from the extended Doctor Who universe, the series was largely standalone, focusing on the unwilling denizens of an anomalous town called Avenue.
Publisher's summary
The town of Avenue collects strangers like dust. June Gazpacho ran away from home, Wick Elden was forced out, and Serena Taj doesn't remember anything else. It is an ancient and supernatural place, a town of empty buildings and empty people, trapped in the gutter and unable to leave. Under the tutelage of the mysterious Anthea, a woman as ambiguous as the night, these lonely souls will try and bring law and hope to a town of misery and engine oil. But careful. There are things in the dark.
Descend.
