The Martian Girl was the second novel in The Lora Trilogy, which continued the use of licensed characters from Magrs' prose Doctor Who works, including Toaster.

A chapter of the novel, which Magrs described as "grisly", was cut from the novel. He later made it available on his Patreon account.[1]
