Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]

  • The Forge started in the 1890s.
  • An unnamed woman is Director of the Forge, back in Whitehall. The Deputy-Director works at the Alpha Facility.
  • When he hears the Forge handle alien tech, Private Mark Bradley asks if it's "like UNIT". (The Forge personnel react with amusement, looking down on UNIT as "more philanthropic")
  • Bradley compares the Forge's technology to Professor X.

Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]

  • Lysandra calls Alpha Facility "the madhouse", as it was once a lunatic asylum; this is a nod to the Forge's origins, a Scott/Wright TV pitch where it was called Bedlam.
