Worlds of the Spiral Politic was a series of Faction Paradox novels and anthologies published by Obverse Books. Each release focused on a specific setting in the Spiral Politic established in the main Faction Paradox line.[1]

Overview[[edit] | [edit source]]

After obtaining the Faction Paradox license in 2011, Obverse Books published several books focusing on specific settings from the series, such as the anthology range The City of the Saved and the Obverse Sextet novella Hyponormalisation: A Faction Hollywood Production. Following the positive reception of these stories, Worlds of the Spiral Politic was announced in 2021 as a series of books set in the Spiral Politic,[1] a term introduced in The Book of the War for the Homeworld's sphere of influence.

Releases[[edit] | [edit source]]

Anthologies[[edit] | [edit source]]

After a February 2021[2] public call for pitches set in or around the Boulevard of Alternate Brutalities[3] resulted in almost 100 submissions,[4] Obverse announced two anthologies of short stories in that setting.[5]
