The Immortal Seaton Begg was the third novella in the Obverse Sextet series. It was written by Simon Bucher-Jones and featured Seaton Begg.

- The character of Seaton Begg, who originated in Michael Moorcock's The Metatemporal Detective and featured briefly in the Obverse Quarterly release Zenith Lives!, is a thinly-veiled stand-in for the fictional British detective Sexton Blake. Obverse Books obtained the rights to Sexton Blake to publish the 2013 Mark Hodder novella The Silent Thunder Caper, but by 2019, the rights had reverted to a different publishing house.
- In the epilogue, Taffy Sinclair is referred to as "Tinker", referencing Sexton Blake's sidekick whom Taffy is based on.

- Seaton Begg and Taffy Sinclair were previously referenced in a Doctor Who context in the novel PROSE: The Coming of the Terraphiles [+]Loading...["The Coming of the Terraphiles (novel)"], which showed them as having time travelled to the 511th century. These more sci-fi adventurer elements of the characters, common in their origin in the Michael Moorcock Multiverse, are not present in this novel.
